Sariel, a graphic designer and expert LEGO builder, has taken the wraps off his custom remote control LEGO Land Rover Defender 90. A feat of mini-engineering, the 1:8.6 scale model has four-wheel drive, 4-speed transmission, working turn signals and a front-mounted winch. The chassis is made up of two live axles, connected to the front and back of the RC transmission, and the build runs on a pair of PF XL motors powered by an 8878 battery. There are also shock absorbers and a spare wheel mounted on the hood for weight distribution.
